Before joining Koviloor Eye Hospital, Dr. Sandeep Sabharwal has work experience with only in premier institutes of India but also abroad. 

He worked as a faculty in Kasturba Medical College and Hospital, Manipal ( KMC ) Karnataka as an Assistant Professor for several years.

In KMC he was actively engaged in teaching not only the M.B.B. S. Students but also postgraduate students, leading to M.S. and D.O.M.S. degrees.

KMC is a 2000 leaded hospital and is a tertiary referral Center in Karnataka State.

Operation Eyesight Universal ( OEU ) Institute of Ophthalmology is a 100+ bedded Organization of Calgary (Canada) in collaboration with KMC. 

Abroad too he worked as Head of the Department in KING KHALID HOSPITAL in Najran, a Ministry of  Health tertiary Center. The department is well equipped with state of equipment. Facilities involving LASERS, Microsurgeries, etc. made available there.

 Still later Dr. Sandeep Sabharwal worked in KSMC ( KING SAUD MEDICAL CITY ), RIYADH. Inaugurated in 1956, it's one of the most reputed Ministry of Health Hospital in the entire Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, He worked here for 10 years.
