On Sunday 20/10/2024, Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital Conducted an General Camp for the Public of Mahibalanpatti & Surrounded villages of Sivagangai Dist.
A total of 118 people benefited from Eye Examination in this Camp.
Through this, 11 cataract patients were successfully operated and regained Clear Vision.

On Sunday, at Adaikkankulam Malayandi Kovil , Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital & Valayapatti Orange Hybrid Vision Centre, Conducted an General Eye Camp for the Public of Valayapatti & Surrounded villages of Pudukottai Dist.
Services of Refraction Test, Glass Advise, Free Medicine, Retina Opinion & Base Hospital reference were offered.
A total 40 people benefited from Eye Examination in this Camp.
Railway Public Camp - 31/08/2024
On Saturday, at Karaikudi Railway Health Unit, Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital General Eye Camp for the Public of Karaikudi & Surrounded villages of Sivagangai Dist.
Services of Refraction Test, Glass Advise, Free Medicine, Retina Opinion & Base Hospital reference were offered.
A total 55 people benefited from Eye Examination in this Camp.

On Sunday 25/08/2024, at K.Alagapuri, Udhayam Nagar, Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital & Pudhuvayal Orange Hybrid Vision Centre conducted an General Camp for the Public of Karaikudi & Surrounded villages of Sivagangai Dist.
A total of 102 people benefited from Eye Examination in this Camp.
Through this, 2 cataract patients were successfully operated and regained Clear Vision.

பொன்னமராவதி, ஆக.16- பொன்னமராவதி அருகே வலையப்பட்டி மெய்யப்பா வள்ளியம்மை காஞ்சி சங்கர வித்யாலயா மெட்ரிக்குலேஷன் பள்ளியில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு கண் பரிசோதனை முகாம் நடைபெற்றது. புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டம் பொன்னமராவதி அருகே உள்ள வலையப்பட்டி மெய்யப்பா வள்ளியம்மை காஞ்சி சங்கரா வித்யாலயா மெட்ரிகுலேஷன் பள்ளியில் காரைக்குடி காணலின் கோவிலூர் கண் மருத்துவமனையின் கிளையான பொன்னமராவதி வலையப்பட்டி காணல் ஆரஞ்சு விஷன் சென்டர் சார்பில் பள்ளி மாணவர்களுக்கு கண் பரிசோதனை முகாம் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த முகாமில் பள்ளியின் முதல்வர் கிறிஸ்டி செல்வராஜ் தலைமை வகித்தார். பள்ளியின் துணை முதல்வர் மகாலட்சுமி பள்ளியின் நிர்வாக அலுவலர் பாண்டியன் ஆகியோர் முன்னிலை வகித்தனர். இந்த முகாமில் பள்ளியில் பயிலும் மூன்றாம் வகுப்பு முதல் பத்தாம் வகுப்பு வரை பயிலும் மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு வலையப்பட்டி காணல் ஆரஞ்சு விசன் சென்டர் கண்பார்வை மருத்துவர் சாம்ப்பிரஸ் இசக்கியேல் மாணவ மாணவிகளுக்கு கண் பார்வை நிலை பரிசோதனைகளை செய்தனர். இதில் மருத்துவ உதவியாளர் மகாலட்சுமி, செய்தி மற்றும் மக்கள் தொடர்பு அலுவலர் கீரவாணி அழகு இளையராஜா, பள்ளியின் ஆசிரியர்கள் என பலரும் முகாமில் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.

On Sunday 21/07/2024, District Vision Loss Prevention Society & Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital Conducted an General Eye Camp for the Public of Poolankuruchi & Surrounded villages of Sivagangai Dist.

On Sunday 14/07/2024, Karaikudi Rotary Preal's Sangam & District Vision Loss Prevention Society Conducted an General Eye Camp for the Public of Pallathur & Surrounded villages of Sivagangai Dist.
Services of Refraction Test, Glass Advise, Free Medicine, Retina Opinion & Base Hospital reference were offered.
A total of 156 people benefited from Eye Examination in this Camp.
Through this, 15 cataract patients were successfully operated and regained Clear Vision.

On Sunday 16/06/2024, at Karaikudi Police Quarters, Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital conducted an General Camp for the Public of Karaikudi & Surrounded villages of Sivagangai Dist.

The other 3 people are under medication as per advise given by general physician to whom free surgery will be done after ten days
Children's Day Celebration
Kaanal's Koviloor Eye Hospital & Orange Hybrid Vision Centers Celebrated Children's day On Nov'14th and 15th by conducting free vision screening for school children & children below 14 years, where KEH were identified children with vision problem ; also referred the cases to their class teachers and parents to the near by Hybrid Vision Centers and Eye Hospitals to get treated further.

Yet another Eye Camp by Kaanal’s KEH in association with Rathna Foundation மக்கள் பாதை இயக்கம் KG Hospital’s Medical Camp conducted at Valayapaty. Thanks to our Jt Managing Trustee Mr. PL. K. PL for inviting Us to conduct the eye in their Gen. Medical camp and their hospitality. Thanks to Team Koviloor Eye Hospital and Frontline eye Hospital for the successful camp . MR. Subbiah, Vice Chancellor, Alagappa University visited our KEH on 16-01-18
This is followed by a visit by VC of Alagappa university MR. Subbiah who got his eyes checked here and appreciated the facilities available. He extended an invitation for me to come and address all the staff members of Alagappa University. Date to be fixed for next month.
Interactive Session
16 th morning our interactive session with Karaikudi Walkers Club went on well . Our COO and AO attended along with few other staff to make it more appropriate. Response was tremendous. Most of the top business ,government , NGOs & college Officials were present. The T Shirts were distributed to the participants and was appreciated by every one . Kaanal’s Eye Care Awareness Training Session
Kaanal’s Eye care awareness training session for the Primary health care workers/ sisters of MAC - ACM Trusts & foundations Primary Health centres from 15 Blocks covering 100 villages in and around Chettinad area was started at Koviloor eye hospital with the Orientation program on 28 th November 2017 at 3 pm in a grand manner.
Nearly 50 PHW , staff nurses and their doctors attended the inaugural session. KEH’s superintendent and senior ophthalmologist Dr Jayavel explained in plain simple terms the eye care awareness and procedures to be followed at the health Centers covering the entire spectrum from Antenatal to adult age group. Signs and symptoms of eye conditions along with preventive aspects and dietary requirements were briefed.
The sisters participated in Q&A session getting their questions answered will be trained in batches at KEH to prevent Blindness at root levels. Mr Mahadevan of the MAC - ACM trust thanked Kaanal for this training program while trustee and treasurer of Kaanal Mr. Renganathan thanked the MAC - ACM trust for the inclusion of eye care awareness at the primary health care level which will be a boon to the general public.
