Koviloor Eye Hospital (KEH), a unit of Kaanal Public Charitable trust, is providing comprehensive eye care to the economically disadvantaged groups in rural areas in and around Koviloor near Karaikudi, Sivagangai District. Medical Services, Community Outreach, Vision Rehabilitation, Education & Training, Research and Eye banking are the components of the hospital. KEH, a charitable not for profit organisation serves all patients, with more than half the number of patients receiving services free of cost, regardless of the service complexity.
Koviloor Mutt has gifted two and a half acres of land to the KAANAL Trust for creating a Charitable Super Specialty Tertiary Eye Care Centre with Vision Rehabilitation & Enhancement facilities for blindness and low vision at Koviloor near Karaikudi. KAANAL plans to achieve this vision with the help of like-minded philanthropists, Government & Non Government Organisations and Corporate Houses through their CSR.
