By serving the customer’s needs and measuring the potentials of ceramic industry, Lakshmi Ceramics went on an expansion with high velocity - brand wise, showroom wise and logistics wise.
To cater the customers across Tamilnadu, Lakshmi Ceramics have started its branches at Madurai, Tirupur, Trichy , Karaikudi, Karur and Chennai.
Lakshmi Ceramic’s dream of catering the international shopping experience to the people of Tamil Nadu and Kerala came true on August 2010 by inaugurating the first of its kind, South India’s biggest tiles showroom at 321, Mettupalayam Road, Opp.Murugan Mill, Coimbatore – 641 043. is an exclusive showroom for Branded tiles namely Kajaria, Somany, Nitco, Cera, Kohler, with a display are of 20,000 sft with centralized Ac and with 50 car parks facility. Lakshmi Ceramics has been awarded all India’s No.1 dealer in Kajaria Ceramics for the last 6 consecutive years and all India No.1 for Somany Ceramics for the last 3 years and Life time achievement award in Asian Granito Ltd, and all India No.1 in MNC Brand for Kohler India coporation pvt Ltd., and they are the largest sellers of Nitco, RAK, and Cera products. Lakshmi’s Home Style is one such venture dealing in Imported & Indian furniture, in a class of its own, with expansive showrooms totaling about 20,000 sq.ft. at Coimbatore, Tirupur and Karaikudi.
Through VP Marketing modular kitchens , wall cladding, natural stone, roofing & weathering tiles and readymade doors are made available to customers. Terrastone is the Company’s own brand of gen-next eco-friendly designer tiles & pavers for floors & walls which has already created a niche in the market. The latest venture, SHAAN Coffee Curing Works has established itself as planter, curer and exporter of quality Indian coffee to European nations & Australia.
He Joined Rotary International in the year 2000 and held various positions in Club level and District Level. During his presidenship he won the Best President Award and Best Club Award and currently he is the Assistant Governor of Rotary District 3201. He won the TOPBIP Award from Jaycees International. Also he is the Vice President of Coimbatore Sanitary ware dealers association.
Indian Chamber of Commerce has awarded G.K.Sundaram Award for Best in Trade .
He was the member of NEU (Nagarathar Entrepreneurs Union) and Co-Chairman of IBCN 2015(International Business Conference of Nagarathar 2015).
He is happily married with wife Mrs.M.Karpagam and has two children M.Aravind Shanmugam and M.Alaghu.
